Given the history of Bush/Cheney regime, will they actually cede the presidency, as the law requires? Here's a thought...
Right at this moment, there's a lawyer in the bowels of Cheney's bunker writing a draft legal opinion which lays out the authority for Bush to stay in office beyond the end of his term, until such time that he deems the country is safe (due to a recent 'event' or constitutional crisis) for the expected transition to take place.
